Troy G. Taylor practices in the firm’s Labor & Employment and Mass Tort & Class Actions practice areas at the firm. He has experience representing businesses, insurers, and other clients in various phases of litigation, including legal research, motion practice, appellate briefing, and case strategy.

Prior to joining Frilot, Troy gained experience through both private practice and public-sector legal work. He has drafted dispositive motions, appellate writ applications, and other litigation-related pleadings, and has successfully obtained dismissal of claims through motion practice. His experience also includes assisting prosecutors with pre-trial matters and case evaluation while working with the Jefferson Parish District Attorney's Office.

Troy earned his Juris Doctor from Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 2025, where he graduated in the top 30 percent of his class and was recognized as a three-time Dean's Scholar. While in law school, he served as a member of LSU's Board of Advocates and competed nationally as a member of the John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court Team. He also participated in LSU's study abroad program in Lyon, France, and completed the university's Summer Trial Advocacy Program.

A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Troy earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri before relocating to Louisiana to attend law school.
