Parker Neill is an associate in the firm’s Mass Tort & Class Actions and Transportation & Trucking groups. He defends asbestos and toxic tort claims, catastrophic injury cases, environmental disputes, and contract matters, often in multi-party lawsuits.
Graduating with honors from Tulane University Law School, Parker sharpened his skills in environmental law through hands-on experience at the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic and deepened his legal knowledge with an important internship at the U.S. Department of Energy in Washington, DC.
On a day-to-day basis, Parker manages cases from intake through resolution. He evaluates liability and damages, drafts and responds to pleadings and discovery, and briefs dispositive, Daubert, and in limine motions. He prepares and takes depositions of fact, treating, and expert witnesses. He directs records and discovery strategy, coordinates accident-reconstruction, medical, and economic experts, and turns technical issues into clear guidance for clients and carriers. He also handles removals, jurisdictional and coverage issues, and negotiates case resolution. He keeps clients informed with concise, timely updates.
A native of New Orleans, Parker's connection to the city's culture and its legal community runs deep. His undergraduate journey at Tulane University not only solidified his passion for the law but also unveiled a talent for writing. This skill has proven to be a significant asset in his career, as he excels in making complex legal concepts accessible and clear to clients, colleagues, and the court.
