Christopher Sherlock is an associate in Frilot’s Labor & Employment and Mass Torts & Class Actions Practice Groups. He earned his J.D. and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, where he also obtained a Graduate Certificate in Taxation and Estate Planning.

During law school, Christopher was an active competitor in the Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition and the Peter James Johnson Mock Trial Competition. He was nominated to the Wex S. Malone American Inn of Court and authored an article titled “Chapter 9: A Potential Life Jacket for Municipalities Drowning in the Aftermath of Cyberattacks” published in the American Bankruptcy Institute Journal.

Before joining Frilot, Christopher gained experience working as a summer associate at several Louisiana firms, including Frilot, where he handled matters involving maritime law, product liability, and premises liability. Prior to law school, Christopher worked in tax accounting, where he managed employee retention tax credit programs and prepared entity, estate, and individual tax returns. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, cum laude, from Southeastern Louisiana University.
