Frilot’s Commitment to Promoting Diversity and Inclusion.

Frilot L.L.C. is committed to fostering an environment that promotes diversity and inclusion among its attorneys and non-attorney staff alike. This mission is fundamental to our success as a firm and to providing first-class representation of our clients. We strive to develop initiatives that specifically enhance recruitment, professional development, retention, and advancement of diverse individuals. Frilot believes that diversity is an inclusive concept, which can encompass aspects of race, color, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, religion, national origin, disability status, and other aspects of a person which make them unique. Frilot has seen first-hand how greater diversity inspires creative solutions through varied perspectives, experiences, backgrounds, and talents, which is not only good for business, but also enhances the profession and the communities we serve. 

As a signatory of the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Statement on Diversity Principals, Frilot endeavors not only to be a more diverse workplace but to support diverse persons by making the firm more inclusive and equitable for all. To this end, Frilot regularly supports diverse bar associations, including the Louis Martinet Society and the Louisiana State Bar Association’s annual Diversity Conclave. Frilot also hosts a variety of cultural celebrations, including LGBTQ+ Pride and Juneteenth. Frilot’s attorneys are leaders in regional and national organizations that seek to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal profession, including the New Orleans Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Louis Martinet Society, and the Defense Research Institute, and have participated as panelists throughout the nation on this critical topic. Several of Frilot’s diverse attorneys also have held leadership positions in the firm’s various committees.

Frilot recognizes the continuous nature of this commitment. Frilot’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee meets regularly to discuss and plan for the firm’s future as a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive place to work.
