Jessica Roberts focuses primarily on complex litigation in federal and state courts, including construction, general casualty, land use and zoning, and general commercial insurance litigation. Ms. Roberts also handles a wide range of transactional work ranging from all aspects of formation work for startup companies and other strategic partnerships to residential and commercial development and construction contracts and transactions. 

While at Tulane Law School, Ms. Roberts externed for the Hon. Eldon E. Fallon of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana and assisted A.N. Yiannopoulos in editing the 5th edition of Book 3, Personal Servitudes, of the Civil Law Treatise Series. Ms. Roberts earned a Certificate of Civil Law from Tulane Law School, received Honors in Trial Advocacy, and was the recipient of the Mitchell Franklin Award for Excellence in Contracts. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Roberts earned her master's degree in Neuroscience and her bachelor of science in Art History and Neuroscience. 

Ms. Roberts regularly presents on historic preservation topics and land use and zoning issues. In addition to her litigation and transactional work, Ms. Roberts provides clients with general legal advice, performs risk analyses, identifies and troubleshoots potential issues, and implements pragmatic and economical methods to achieve advantageous outcomes.
