Awards and Recognition In 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 Frilot L.LC. was named a “Go-To Law Firm” for litigation in an annual survey conducted by Corporate Counsel magazine. The survey asks Fortune 250 companies which law firm they “turn to most” for litigation matters. The findings are reported in the annual Corporate Counsel publication "Who Represents America’s Biggest Companies" issue. The firm was named as one of the "2006 Best Places to Work" by New Orleans CityBusiness. Frilot L.L.C. is included in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, for achieving the highest level of legal ability and adhering to the professional standards of conduct, ethics, reliability and diligence. Additionally, the firm has been rated with the highest “AV” rating by Martindale-Hubbell, recognizing the firm’s professional excellence. Attorneys at the Frilot L.L.C. firm have strong academic backgrounds. Several have been elected to the Order of the Coif, the highest academic honor awarded in law school. Many have served as editors-in-chief, editors and staff writers of their Law Review. Several firm partners have served, or presently serve, as Adjunct Assistant Professors at the Tulane Law School and Loyola Law School, lecturing in various substantive law areas. Our attorneys have been recognized in Best Lawyers in America, Louisiana SuperLawyers, and Chambers USA. Additionally, four of our partners were named in the most recent listings of "Top 50 Lawyers in New Orleans" by CityBusiness. Additionally, firm attorneys have taken a leadership role in the Louisiana Bar Association, Louisiana Bar Foundation, American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, Standing Committee on Stevedoring, Marine Terminals & Vessel Services, Maritime Law Association of the United States, and the Young Leadership Council. For the second year in a row, Frilot L.L.C. was named as one of the 2007 "Best Places to Work" by New Orleans CityBusiness. Twelve partners have been named as Louisiana SuperLawyers for 2008. They are Miles P. Clements, Bruce A. Cranner, Andrew S. deKlerk, Leslie W. Ehret, George A. Frilot, III, John J. Hainkel, III, Allen J. Krouse, J. Dwight LeBlanc, III, Patrick J. McShane, Joseph N. Mole, and Peter E. Sperling. Founding Partner George A. Frilot, III, is celebrating 50 years. He is being honored at a reception hosted by the LSBA during its midyear meeting in January 2008. |
