Lynne Stern is of counsel in the firm's Labor & Employment Practice Area. She has extensive experience litigating all types of employment claims in federal and state courts and is a mediator and arbitrator.

Ms. Stern received her JD from Columbia University School of Law in 1971 and her BA magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Michigan in 1968. She served as a law clerk to the Honorable Frederick J.R. Heebe of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. Ms. Stern also taught courses at Loyola on employment discrimination, sex discrimination and evidence.

Mediation and Arbitration Practice
Ms. Stern has been a full-time mediator and arbitrator since 1993. Her mediation experience includes numerous multi-party cases as well as sexual harassment, employment discrimination, securities, commercial and personal injury matters. She is on the approved list of mediators for Orleans Parish Civil District Court, the Louisiana Register of Mediators, FINRA, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Resolute Systems. She has conducted several mediation training workshops.
