Curtis is an associate with the firm and practices in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group. After receiving a Bachelors of Science in Economics from Vanderbilt University in 1999, David served as an Officer in the United States Navy until 2003. David served onboard the destroyer USS RAMAGE (DDG 61) during Operation Enduring Freedom in the Afghanistan War and onboard the aircraft carrier USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT (CVN 71) during the current Iraq War. After his service David entered law school at Ole Miss and became engaged in both the Moot Court as the Trial Competition Co-Chairman and in the National Journal of Space Law as an editor. David also worked as an extern for United States District Judge Michael P. Mills in the Northern District of Mississippi. David earned his juris doctorate from the University of Mississippi in May of 2006. David now works as an associate in the firm's Commercial Group, practicing in the areas of commercial litigation with an emphasis on contract disputes and cases involving bankruptcy, creditor's rights, construction and real estate issues. Although he is based in New Orleans, he handles cases throughout Louisiana, Mississippi and around the country. | ||||
