'Rasch' Brown III is co-chair of the firm’s Product Liability Practice Group. In over 20 years of practicing law, Mr. Brown has gained extensive experience in products liability, employment and commercial litigation. Mr. Brown has obtained defense verdicts in products liability cases tried in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Mississippi and Texas, in addition to his successful representation of manufacturers and retailers in courts throughout Louisiana. Emerson Electric Co. has selected Mr. Brown as one of its Regional Trial Counsel. The wide spectrum of products Mr. Brown has defended includes appliances, tires, hand tools, power tools, consumer products, industrial equipment, chemicals and ladders. Many of the product liability cases Mr. Brown has defended have involved fires, explosions or catastrophic personal injuries. In the employment context, Mr. Brown has handled cases involving allegations of race, disability and sex discrimination, and well as sexual harassment and retaliatory discharge claims. He has also been lead counsel in a number of commercial disputes, including breach of contract and business tort claims. | ||||
