She has considerable experience in handling cases involving Jones Act and personal injury defense, longshore and harbor workers' claims, cargo claims, ship collisions, ship allisions, marine insurance, and other legal issues arising from the maritime industry. Along with her local and regional work, Ms. Benbow provides effective representation to Underwriters, brokers and claims adjusters in the London Market. She has traveled to London to conduct presentations for these clients on the purpose and use of depositions in American litigation. Along with her attendance and participation in such endeavors as the Louisiana Chemical Industrial Alliance ('LCIA') and Houston Marine Insurance Seminar, Ms. Benbow is actively involved in the firm's recruiting practices and summer clerk program. | ||||
