She has since become the able writing and research arm of the firm's successful litigation teams in cases involving such diverse areas as sex discrimination, agricultural patents, medical malpractice, products liability, maritime injuries, insurance contract disputes, mass torts and class actions. In so doing, she's crafted succinct and poignant briefs for trial and appellate courts, writ applications, supporting and opposing memoranda, and opinion letters. Clients that have benefited from her efforts include Texaco, Patient's Compensation Fund, Louisville Ladders, Rheem, the Fertility Institute of New Orleans, Waste Management, Inc., Murphy Oil U.S.A., Tenet, Tidewater, Monsanto and a host of individuals. Ms. Ferry is admitted to practice before the state courts of Texas and all Louisiana state and federal courts. She has appeared before state courts in the parishes of Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Charles, and St. John, Juvenile Court in Orleans Parish, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana and Louisiana's Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal, the latter resulting in the Court's affirming her well-pleaded peremptory exception of prescription.
