Everett Fineran is an associate with the firm's Commercial Litigation and Mass Tort & Class Action sections. Although Mr. Fineran's practice has involved a variety of claims-ranging from personal injury defense to insurance litigation-for the past two years he has focused primarily on large oil spill litigation.

Mr. Fineran graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University College of Business in 2004, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. In 2007, Mr. Fineran graduated cum laude from Loyola University College of Law, earning both a Juris Doctorate degree and a Certificate in Civil and Common Law. He was a member of the Loyola Law Review and a William L. Crowe Scholar. He was also an extern for United States District Judge Ivan Lemelle in the Eastern District of Louisiana. Mr. Fineran's article, The Louisiana Road Home Program: A Path of Unintended Consequences, was published in the Spring 2007 Edition of the Buffalo Public Interest Law Journal.

Mr. Fineran is licensed to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts, including the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal.
