Frilot attorney James R. Silverstein obtained a directed verdict in a jury trial in the 24^th Judicial District Court during the week of January 24, 2009.   In Elizabeth Pagani, et al v. Colony Insurance Company, et al, the plaintiffs alleged that the firm’s client was responsible for certain construction defects.  The trial court dismissed the plaintiffs’ case at the close of evidence on the grounds that they did not meet their burden of proof.
